Large abstract canvas in progress will soon dictate much of David's graphic line work to follow - in which, controlled lines will intuitively engage with contrasting dripping paint marks.
David this one you are working on is wonderful... it is so free flowing and fluid, relaxed - than your previous work - I like it a lot. The colours are mesmerising.

Love this abstract!
Even in this rendition, I can feel its power.
Hope N.Y. is great for the whole family.
David has been prolifically filing up sketch books over the past year with concepts, composition studies and new medium approaches to his work. 2010 will see many of these ideas come to life as completed artworks.
A3 sized painted backgrounds litter the studio floor. Over the years David has painted a vast amount of these backgrounds as a part of his studio practice. The process David refers to as the 'experimental use and abuse of paint'. Many such backgrounds are over painted with strong graphic imagery whilst others end up in collages or simply wait patiently for a new home.
