Large abstract canvas in progress will soon dictate much of David's graphic line work to follow - in which, controlled lines will intuitively engage with contrasting dripping paint marks.

A new life for an old tree is also a new life for David's work, incorporating his art with photography.

David has been prolifically filing up sketch books over the past year with concepts, composition studies and new medium approaches to his work. 2010 will see many of these ideas come to life as completed artworks.
